It is important to teach our children to value our political system and the
stability it provides. We often take for granted peaceful transitions of power
in the Philippines.
Power shifts between the major parties, political leaders
work with new players, policies change over time, and the nation holds.
Thankfully, the presidency as an institution is much more resilient than the
individuals who serve as president, and our system of checks and balances
provides important safeguards.
Claiming that the indoctrinated person
is expected not to question or critically examine the doctrine they have
learned. As such the term may be used pejoratively or as a buzz word, often in
the context of political opinions, theology, religious dogma or anti-religious
convictions.
This is
why many charitable organizations that run ads on televisions draw the viewer’s
attention to children rather than the adults as children are seen as weak and
vulnerable.
This is
the same case when children are used in political adverts/commercials. I
personally believe that political parties should not be allowed to use children
to further their agenda,
WHY?
Because
children does not know what they're getting into. If a child is shown on let’s
say an Anti burial against Marcos sign, that child will forever be known as
someone who supported whatever the cause is even if they grow up to hate him
and his policies. The same goes for everyone else.
Unless a child is directly able to consent and say "I agree
with your policies, let me be in your advert" and is able to explain what
those policies are and why they agree with them then they should not be
involved in any political events.
